Kat

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing my little niece Kat.  She is the funniest, smiliest little 3 year old ever! 

This one reminds me most of the big Kat smile we see so often.

OK, yeah, she's got a balloon on her head.  This is a game I play with 3 year olds, usually to get something out of the way that I don't want in the picture.  In this case, to get the balloon out of her mouth.  I ask them to put whatever it is on their head, on their shoulder, on their knee, etc, usually ending up with behind their back or something like that.  I always start with "on your head" because they think that is really funny.  I don't usually show the resulting image, but this one was too sweet a smile to toss.

When the girls came home from school we wanted some cousin jumping pictures.  Here is Grace showing Kat how it's done.  Kat was a quick study.

All three...

I couldn't tell from her reaction if Kat was enjoying herself or not.  She's so hard to read that way.
