OK, just one more

Another quick post. Grace having a little pre-Thanksgiving dinner snack at the table.

Just One

I was quickly scanning some recent snaps and I found this one of Charlotte eating her typical lunch of pb&j (sans crusts, of course) and chocolate milk. When I took it, it struck me how small she looked sitting there at the table.

Erin

This is Erin in her hambok. Isn't she adorable? She did great for her mini phoot shoot in this traditional Korean dress. We were going to shoot some more pictures of her and her big brother, Cayden, but they both opted to watch a Dora video instead. Honestly, I really couldn't blame them.

Haircut

Both Charlotte and Grace got a haircut today. This was Grace's very first one. We'll miss the baby mullet. Here's the new 'do.

Where she sleeps

That little curled up ball of blue Dora pjs is my daughter.

I so can't wait to see her room when she's 16. Believe it or not this was a light day. Some of the big stuff she likes to have in there is missing. And trust me, don't try to take anything out when she's not around. She notices.

Halloween

Derek asked me to post the Halloween pictures of Grace and Charlotte, so here they are. Nothing special photographically, but the kids are pretty cute. Charlotte loves her penguin costume. She wore it for about 4 days straight.

We had a really nice time having pizza and then trick-or-treating with Shawn and Cheyenne. Shawn was an elephant and he helped Charlotte go up all the front steps and held her hand for most of the time. From the back, it was a very sweet picture. My tall elephant nephew holding hands with this short little penguin. Cheyenne was very careful to collect candy for Grace at each house and bring it over to her.

First one - notice the expert wing flapping!

Just for laughs

I never edited or printed these last year, so here they are for the first time. These made me laugh tonight. Charlotte didn't like the elastic waistband around her belly, so she insisted on pulling it up like that. I remember thinking it reminded me of my loathing for maternity pants. Who's that peanut in the basket?

My Dad loaned me the basket when I described my idea for these pictures. It has turned into a wonderful container for stuffed animals. Um, Dad, did you want it back?

Our dirty little secret

Louisa came over this morning and we had a great time together. I thought I would take a few pictures of her in this cute little sweater Alex got her. I took her outside and sat her down in some leaves. She loved the idea! She was up in a flash and running around like crazy. Isn't she adorable?! And hey, it even looks like fall!

Then, I realized she didn't have any shoes on and the bottom of her spotless little organic cotton Hannah Anderson baby tights were all black. I panicked. I stripped off the baby tights, hand washed them, threw them in the dryer and had them back on her before Alex got back. And then I swore Louisa to secrecy. But, I am left with this photographic evidence ;)

This is our second trip out when I had the sense to put Grace's shoes on her.

Here she is inspecting Charlotte and Grace's Halloween loot.
