Snaggletooth

Charlotte tripped and fell over the weekend and hit her mouth on the sofa. Poor Grandma, unfortunately it had to happen at her house :( Instead of getting knocked out, her teeth got pushed back up into her gums. Anyone see this happen before? It looks like it did when she was a baby and teething. The dentist said to do nothing and the teeth will come back in eventually. Charlotte is fine and her normal bubbly, chatty little self. She is loving life right about now, actually, because she got to have chocolate ice cream for breakfast.

An aside - she likes to have her picture taken wearing this brown scarf these days. Whatever it takes to get the shot is fine with me;)

Yesterday


She made us laugh at Denny's this evening. Derek was cutting her pancake into pieces and apparently not cutting it the way she had in mind. She emphatically announced to us, as well as the people at the surrounding tables, "Mommy, you need cut my pancake for me. Daddy not do it right. He made a 'stake." (meaning a "mistake").
